Auxiliary
The world’s largest patriotic organization. For nearly a century, the American Legion Auxiliary has been serving, helping, and meeting the needs of our nation’s veterans and their families – both here and abroad.
In the spirit of Service, Not Self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, we are advocates for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace, and security. You can learn more about the American Legion Auxiliary at https://www.legion-aux.org/
Members of the Auxiliary are the male and female spouses, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and direct and adopted female descendants of members of the American Legion. Some members are also veterans and members of a local American Legion Post.
