What does that me to potential sponsors? It means that we are similar to other nonprofit organizations that are described by the IRS under section 501 of the government code. There are a series of these tax exempt types of organizations. Donations to our organization may be a deductible expense, just like one to a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization.
